The Technion is an institution that serves as an academic and social incubator for more than 15,000 students, of whom approximately 5,000 students reside permanently in Technion dormitories and have made it their first home. Some call the Technion dormitories the largest ‘hotel’ in the Middle East.

The dormitory community is highly diverse, representing the mix of ethnicities, religions, and genders within Israeli society. Over time, interactions among residents from different backgrounds have fostered a unique social atmosphere at the Technion. The dormitory management team is dedicated to maintaining facilities, addressing logistical needs, and supporting residents on a personal level. The strong sense of community and cooperation within a peaceful and supportive environment contributes to students’ success in their demanding studies.
